No, but it attracts brown stains, which get baked into the layer. These stains can be removed with an acid wash, but the pool needs to be drained for the process. Color Removed From Colored Plaster This is tricky to assess because colored plaster can fade due to calcium deposits or because of chlorine bleaching the pool plaster.
